Brooke Workman of Workman Inclusive Practices

Brooke is an impact focused consultant who is passionate about creating and implementing systems for inclusive practices. She believes that all students can feel seen, valued, and thrive in supportive, inclusive environments. Brooke brings over fifteen years of experience as an educator, network leader, and consultant working with districts, CMOs, and organizations in a wide range of contexts for both K-12 and higher education.

 

Her expertise includes strategic planning, programming, curricular implementation, professional development and instructional design for students with disabilities and multilingual learners, co-teaching, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS), the Science of Reading (SoR), professional learning and development and standards based curricular alignment and development.

ABOUT BROOKE WORKMAN

Brooke received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and participated in the New York City Teaching Fellows program where she taught special education and received her Masters in SpEd and Ed from Hunter College. Brooke continued her career as a learning specialist and special populations leader at a charter network in Brooklyn, New York and served as the senior director for network special populations for 2 years. Brooke also spent several years working with organizations to develop nationally recognized curriculum and lead professional development for larger districts. Brooke resides outside of Philadelphia, PA with her partner, Eric, their 3 daughters, Lilly, Maya, and Ava, and their 2 cats. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, going for runs, and cooking.
